We will teach you all the essentials you will need to begin your yoga journey, instilling you with the groundwork and confidence to attend regular classes or begin a home-practice.
Who is it aimed at?
Complete beginners who have never done yoga before. However, students who have already practised some yoga and want to deepen their understanding of the wider context of yoga are also very welcome.
You will learn some key postures from each of the main groups including standing poses, forward & back bends, twists, sun salutations and simple inversions. We will also look at the importance of alignment in all postures, how to work towards experiencing ease & stability in your poses and the importance of the breath – its effect on your practice and using it as a simple way to start meditating.
How many people are in the class?
Only 8 students maximum. A private group class in our smaller studio, where you will be together with other complete beginners.
How much is it?
£60 for 4 classes of one hour. Purchased in blocks of 4 weeks. If you miss a class, no credit can be given. We recommend you complete all 4 weeks so the you can progress to our ‘open’ timetable of 40 classes each week.
10% discount will be given to all students purchasing a class pack if done so within the 4 week course ready to use for your open class timetable.
