What’s included ?
Your experienced and specialist Yoga instructor comes on this retreat to offer their expertise for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced practitioners. She will offer her specialist knowledge in each class, early morning sun-rise yoga and calming flowing sundowner practice.
Julees classes are playful, dynamic and flowing, sequenced to take you into a deep pose each time. She has been on the mat for around 20 years, she often says “It sounds like a long time but everything still feels fresh every day”. Julee has been led & mentored by some of the Yoga world’s greats. She loves how her teacher friends are all enthusiastically sharing their knowledge, evolving & honing the practice as a whole and therefore she feels it’s not hers to keep but to share which is an honour & a privilege all together.
Is it for me?
The majority of people come on their own and make great friendships, the yoga instructors and their helpers are extremely welcoming, there is always the perfect balance of having people to talk to but having solo time too!
Beginners to Yoga are welcome, we have a specialist Beginners Instructor coming with us, we want to encourage all levels of students to share their experiences and learn from each other. All equipment is provided – just bring yourself!
What if I’m Intermediate/advanced level? We look at the level of student attending and then add a second instructor to suit. When we talked to our Yoga members to find out what a good retreat looks like, they overwhelmingly said they preferred to have separate groups so that the beginners can have time to learn and develop at their pace and the intermediates/advanced Yogis can progress their practice.

There is a feel of Scandi Artic of course but the fine views from the bedrooms and private dining areas are to die for..
All 8 bedrooms offer ensuite facilities, 4 rooms are double beds and 4 rooms are twins. So we have have divided the pricing into Double room for Single occupancy and Twin share (same sex). First Come First Served.
Where is it?
The Lodge is located 350 kilometres North of the Arctic Circle, Northern Norway and is set in the pure wilderness of Northern Norway. The midnight sun makes it possible to do as the locals and participate in various activities around the clock. In general, this area has a mild climate for such a northerly destination because of the warming effect of the Gulf stream. In July the average temperatures are 20 degrees.
We love the fact its so far North. Aszure blue waters are not to be underestimated, imagine kayaking your way through the stunning scenery and breathing the fresh mountain air.
Flights and transfers :
In the old days, large parts of Northern Norway was inaccessible, but today there is an extensive network of both roads and small airports with regular flights between many of the small towns and villages.

Testimonial from Bernadette, guest in September 2018 on our Portugal Yoga Retreat
Having returned home and had an opportunity to reflect on our amazing retreat in Olhao, I felt I needed to pass on my sincere thanks to you for organising everything so thoughtfully and beautifully and to Julee and Lou, who are so incredibly patient, kind and fantastic yoga guides.
It was with some trepidation that I booked the retreat and travelled alone but I’m so glad I made that decision as I met such wonderful, like minded people and can’t imagine a better group to enjoy the experience with.
The sunrise meditations with Lou were inspiring, the yoga with Julee and Lou has increased my knowledge and practice to a whole new level. Julees stories are so great, can you add some to the new app please?
Thank you again and I look forward to the next retreat adventure!
