Sweaty Betty Ambassador and mother of two, Jo will be firing up the core in her 45 minute express Pilates & Power Core Pilates classes at Ebb&Flow. A natural people-person, she has an array of enviable qualifications to help understand how our bodies work. Pilates is her passion and it shows!
Jo Evans, a mother of two and fitness fanatic is always busy but values the importance of having a healthy and balanced lifestyle, believing that life is too short not to enjoy the things you love in moderation. Having worked in the City of London for many years, Jo decided to make a change and give up her London life to pursue a career within the health and fitness industry in 2009.
Jo teaches a range of clients, adapting to individual injuries and limitations, acknowledging the importance of adapting each class for the individual. Every class is designed to challenge your body, showing a high level of attention to detail so that each move is executed correctly. Her classes always feature the underlying principles of Pilates – core engagement, neutral spine, concentration, control, centring, breathing, precision and flow of movement.
Alongside teaching Pilates, Jo is a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer, Spin Instructor, ASA Level 2 Swimming Coach, Level 3 Pilates Instructor (including pre and postnatal Pilates and Pilates for Common Orthopaedic Issues), and a Springboard Pilates Instructor.
