…and have been practicing yoga since about 1999 and meditation since 2003. I am a qualified teacher in both disciplines and am based in Farnham, UK, where I live with my husband, two young daughters and Welsh terrier; Winnie.
I began practising meditation in a self-taught capacity. I was drawn to the peace and mental clarity I felt, carving out time in silence every day. In 2004 when looking for a place to sit and meditate with others I came across the North London Buddhist Centre & joined their weekly meditation & dharma (Buddhist) study classes. In 2007 I took my vows to practice Buddhism within the context of the Triratna order. This commitment deepened and supported my meditations and understanding of how to share this necessary tool for a more peaceful life.
After practising many styles of yoga across 20 years, in 2016 I decided to learn more for my own knowledge base and undertook my 200hr Yoga Alliance Teacher Training. In order to practice for my course I taught various classes across a number of my local yoga studios, where upon completion of my training I was offered a job despite not meaning to teach!
I now love to follow my passion, teaching Yoga and Meditation so that everyone can have access to wellbeing in their life.
