Victoria is a meditation and yoga teacher based in Farnham, Surrey. She began practising meditation in 2003 in a self-taught capacity, drawn to the peace and mental clarity she felt carving out time in silence every day.
In 2004, upon looking for an environment to sit with others she came across the North London Buddhist Centre and joined their weekly meditation & dharma (Buddhist) study classes. In 2007 she took her vows to practice Buddhism within the context of the Triratna order. This commitment deepened and supported her meditations and understanding of how to share this necessary tool for a more peaceful life.
After practising many styles of yoga for around 20 years, in 2016 Victoria decided to learn more, to deepen her own knowledge base, and undertook her 200hr Yoga Alliance Teacher Training. In order to practice for her course, she taught various classes across a number of local yoga studios – upon completion of her training she was offered work despite not meaning to teach!
Many years later she’s still teaching and love every minute of sharing this passion with others.
